If there are any updates in relation to the book Smart in C - A simple and efficient methodology for EQE Paper C, you can find them on this page.
Note that the Examination Board of the EQE has decided to abolish the opposition form for Paper C: this form will no longer be part of the papers handed out at the EQE.
It is not allowed to bring your own opposition form and fill this in at the exam and hand it in, because such a form does not have the required bar-codes. (Of course, you can bring a filled-in form to the EQE for reference.)
Nevertheless, you are expected to draft a proper notice of opposition.
By way of example, your answer to hand in for the 2020 Paper C, should start with a few sentences formulated as follows:
"Opposition is filed in the name of <<Name>> against <<EPxxx B1>> (Annex 1).
The opposition fee has been paid.
The patent is opposed on the grounds of Article 100(a) EPC for lack of novelty and lack of inventive step as well as Article 100(c) EPC.
In the event the Opposition Division envisages to maintain the patent, either in the form as granted or in amended form, oral proceedings are requested."
Please fill in the form if you want to be informed when new releases are available.
